A micron is a unit of measurement often used for the skin. A micron is equivalent to one millionth of a meter. With the TRL technology, the precision and control is unmatched with other lasers. The laser can be controlled precisely, allowing your treatment provider to perform treatments as shallow as 4 microns, to as deep as 200 microns per pass.The next feature of the TRL laser which makes it so unique is that it makes it possible to ablate as shallow or deep as is appropriate for the patient, with or without coagulation. Other lasers, like CO2, have a fixed ratio of coagulation to ablation without the ability to separate the two.
