Surgery with Dr. Buonassisi

Nose
Over 2,500 rhinoplasties, primary and ethnic, with the technique chosen for your anatomy after a thorough consultation. Computer imaging (not 3D) is used to talk through goals. Most people are out socially in 1 to 2 weeks; final results take about 12 months.
Face & neck
In a deep plane facelift, the work is done beneath the SMAS, so the skin and its supporting layer are lifted and repositioned as one instead of the skin being stretched. It's often done with a neck lift. Expect about 2 weeks before you're out socially, with final results at 3 to 6 months.

Upper and lower blepharoplasty, brow lift and double eyelid surgery. The brow and upper lids sit so close that he often looks at them as one area before recommending either. Recovery is typically 1 to 2 weeks.

He looks at your whole face before talking about one feature. A nose is judged next to the chin and lips, an eyelid next to the brow above it, a jawline next to the neck below it.
His recommendation starts from what your tissues and structure can realistically do, so the result looks like you, just refined.
Much of a consultation is explanation: where an incision would sit, which layer moves and why. You leave knowing what's possible for you and what isn't.
If surgery isn't likely to help, or an expectation goes beyond what your anatomy allows, he'll tell you so.
He favours small, well-chosen changes in proportion to your face. Many of his patients find him through a friend whose result looked natural.
