To minimize UV exposure and the risk of brown pigmentation to the scar, it is best to stay out of direct sun light for six months after rhinoplasty surgery always use sun protection and wear a hat if possible. This doesn't mean you can't go on a sunny holiday in that time frame - but we do recommend that you protect your skin in general, especially the incision area.
