What does the Halo laser do?
The Halo™ laser is the first hybrid fractional laser ever developed. The technology offers a combination of non-ablative laser to coagulate tissue and ablative laser to vaporize tissue. This combination means that we can achieve optimal skin tone and texture with a single treatment.

How long is downtime after a Halo laser treatment?
Due to the extreme precision and tune-ability of the high-tech laser used in the Halo™ treatment, we can customize exactly how deep your treatment will be based on the amount of downtime you can tolerate. The deeper you are able to go, the more downtime you will have but also the more visible your “after†result will be. You’ll be able to go about your normal activities immediately after treatment, but it’s important to keep your skin protected for the first 24 hours post treatment. In many cases, makeup can be worn the very next day. After three to four days your skin will begin peeling, revealing the rejuvenated skin underneath.
Does the Halo laser hurt and what is the process like?
Halo™ laser treatments are most comfortable when the skin is numb. We apply a medical grade topical to the skin prior to treatment to ensure the procedure is comfortable. A device is used to apply the laser energy in short bursts. After the treatment, we use a variety of techniques and tools to cool the skin.
