How Much Time Should I Take Off Work for Rhinoplasty?

The following are more of Dr. Buonassisi's words on this topic:"The question is how much time should I take off work? I think if you are going to be face to face with people at your work, or if you are going to be interacting with people directly and you are uncomfortable with that, then you probably should take two weeks off. The cast that we put onto the nose and the tapes that we place are there for a week. So I generally recommend that for the first week you try and avoid any significant heavy activities and you may be uncomfortable being seen in public, mostly because of the cast and the tapes. After that, it really depends on the patients. And I know from my experience I often see many patients out in public even a couple of days after surgery—cast and tapes and all, and it's perfectly fine as long as you are comfortable with that."
