Seeing Final ResultsVideo transcript: Final results are seen much more rapidly with the suture technique because there's a lot less swelling. Probably they get a good sense of what the result will be just after a few days.With the incisional technique they can expect the creases to be far higher than they will in the first few weeks because of swelling in the eyelids. Essentially the swelling pushes the crease to a higher position and it takes several months for the crease to finally settle into its final position.In some people it may take even longer than that. It doesn't mean their eyelids don't look good during that period, it's just that the crease is still maturing and achieving its final shape.
