Lindsay’s Rhinoplasty Experience
Lindsay came to see Dr. Buonassisi for an in-depth rhinoplasty consultation. After meeting with him she felt comfortable and reassured that her aesthetic goals were possible. Both Lindsay and Dr. Buonassisi agreed on a surgical plan:
- Hump reduction
- Narrow nose
- Close space between tip cartilages
- Straighten columella
Post Operative Care
Following surgery, Lindsay came to the clinic for a follow up 1 week after her surgery and then again about 9 months following. Lindsay had an amazing result, she was extremely happy with the surgery and the outcome.Dr. Buonassisi performed the following to help achieve Lindsay’s aesthetic goals:
- Narrow tip cartilages and define the tip of the nose
- Remove space or cleft between tip cartilages
- Brought tip cartilages closer together - Dr. Buonassisi used a cartilage graft to make sure the space doesn’t indent with skin.
- Lastly fixed crooked septum which was making Lindsay’s nose and columella crooked as well.
Lindsay’s Rhinoplasty Recovery
After having the expectation of a long, painful recovery, Lindsay is happy to report that after the surgery she was awake, in no pain and comfortable. Lindsay had a quick recovery and was back to work in a week.
