Amanda's Rhinoplasty Part 9: Closing Incisions
In the final step of Amanda's rhinoplasty surgery, Dr. Buonassisi closes the columellar incision. The incision is strategically designs in a z shape (called a z plasty) so that it is virtually imperceptible when healed. This is a technique that plastic surgeons used for concealing scars.
