Vascular Lesions isa very broad term for a wide variety of different skin conditions but the one common factor is redness. Many vascular lesions are evident from birth but some develop as we age due to systemic reasons or lifestyle choices.Some of the lesions we develop on our faces and bodies include:

How does Vascular Laser work?

Laser or light energy is selectively absorbed by the oxyhemoglobin resulting in heating of the blood vessels. With the correct wavelengths and fluence which is determined by your medical aesthetician, the vascular lesions will be heated to above 70 degrees celsius. At that temperature, blood vessels will break down and shrink which leads to a reduction of the vascular lesion and a lessened or removed appearance of the redness from your complexion.
